The Salvation Army Ottawa Booth Centre welcomed 600 people to the Community Christmas Dinner last Saturday Dec 16th, 2019.
This annual festive turkey dinner which also came with a treat bag and desert offered a welcoming place for the community to share a meal. Anyone in need of a meal or some company is always welcome.
“We are very grateful to the community for helping us provide this holiday dinner. Your donations to our Christmas Kettles help make these meals possible,” said Marc Provost, Ottawa Booth Centre Executive Director. “Our Christmas dinner brings those that are in need or are lonely at Christmas, the opportunity to celebrate and visit with others over a warm meal in a friendly festive atmosphere.”
Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who helped serve meals and clean tables. You are so appreciated!
