The Salvation Army Ottawa Booth Centre is hosting its annual Thanksgiving Dinner with all the trimmings on Sunday, October 7th 2018 from 3 pm to 6 pm and is expecting between 400 and 500 guests.
This year the meal will include turkey, creamy potatoes and gravy, veggies, stuffing and for dessert pumpkin and apple pie.
“Our holiday meals are about bringing people together for a festive meal so that everyone has somewhere to go and enjoy the company of others,” said Marc Provost, Executive Director of the Ottawa Booth Centre. “Thank you to everyone who comes out to volunteer and to all those who support The Salvation Army all year long so that we can continue to provide a welcoming place for everyone to enjoy a delicious dinner.”
The Ottawa Booth Centre is in need of frozen turkeys this year – any size is appreciated. To make a monetary or food donation please contact the Ottawa Booth Centre at 613-241-1573, email email@example.com or drop off at 171 George Street to the attention of Captain Tony Brushett.
